Customer Lighting Text within the Scope of Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698
01. Data Controller’s Identity
The Data Controller is JETLİD TECHNOLOGY INC. (hereinafter referred to as JETLİD), fulfilling the obligation to inform customers in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698 with this lighting text.
02. Definitions
E-Commerce: Conducting trade (exchange of goods/services) electronically (via the internet), Identity: Refers to Name, Surname, and TR Identification Number. Communication: Refers to the phone, email, and physical address provided by the customer at their own request. Visual and Auditory Records: Such as photographs and call center voice recordings, etc. Law: Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, Processing of Personal Data: Any operation performed on data such as obtaining, recording, storing, preserving, altering, reorganizing, disclosing, transferring, taking over, making data available, classifying, or preventing the use of data, whether wholly or partially automated or as part of any data recording system, Customer Transaction: Invoice, order information, bank account information, requests, complaints, suggestions, and similar information. Transaction Security: Website login/logout information, password information, user information (username), user permission/access information, IP address information, and internet access logs, Legal Transaction: Information in correspondence with judicial authorities, information in lawsuit files, and similar information, Policy: Policy on the Processing, Protection, Storage, and Destruction of Personal Data. Data Controller: Refers to the person who determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for establishing and managing the data recording system.
03. Which Personal Data Do We Process?
We process the personal data of our individual customers engaged in commercial activities with our business, including identity, phone number, address, email, transaction security information, customer transaction, and legal transaction data.
04. Method of Data Collection and Legal Basis
Your personal data is collected through automatic or non-automatic methods within the scope of E-commerce activities, including application forms, contracts, information systems, and electronic devices, customer request and transaction documents, website, phone, automatic search engines, smart voice recording systems, electronic mail, and SMS.
Your personal data is processed within the scope of commercial activities, performance of the contract, rights allocation, use, and protection specified in Article 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698, in accordance with the purposes stated in Article 5 of this lighting text and the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in the relevant legislation, including the Tax Legislation, Turkish Commercial Code Legislation, Turkish Code of Obligations, and for the provision of product/goods/services sales and after-sales services (Consumer rights) within the scope of relevant legislation such as the Personal Data Protection Law, Electronic Commerce Regulation, Regulation on Commercial Communications and Commercial Electronic Messages, and other relevant legislation. In cases where processing conditions requiring explicit consent are met, your consent will also be requested separately.

The purposes for which your personal data may be processed by our company in accordance with the personal data processing conditions specified in the Law and relevant legislation are as follows:

Your personal data will be deleted or destroyed ex officio or upon your request when the purposes of this processing are completely eliminated. The processing period of personal data will not be less than the maximum periods specified in the relevant legislation in any case.
06. Transfer of Personal Data
Personal data cannot be transferred without the explicit consent of the data subject. Subject to the provisions of other laws regarding the transfer of personal data and in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law and the principles specified in Section 3 of the Policy, personal data may be transferred by “JETLİD” domestically and/or internationally.
Your personal data may be shared with authorized public institutions and organizations, professional advisors we receive services from, certified public accountants, auditors, authorized lawyers, information technology companies, server hosting and archiving service providers, banks, shareholders for the purpose of managing our internal relations, and related natural and/or legal persons in order to carry out our commercial activities and fulfill our legal obligations.
07. What are Your Personal Data Owner / Data Subject / Rights?
Article 11 of the Law regulates the rights of the data subject. Accordingly, the data subject can apply to the data controller regarding their personal data processed within the scope of “JETLİD” activities and request the following:
- To learn whether personal data is being processed,
- To request information if personal data has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred at home or abroad,
- To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law,
- To request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to subparagraphs (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
- To object to the occurrence of a result against the individual by analyzing the processed data solely through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages in case of suffering damage due to the unlawful processing of personal data.
You can apply by filling out the “Personal Data Application Form” on the Company’s website regarding the processing of your personal data, using the method that is suitable for you from those specified in the form, and by “proving your identity”. If you exercise your rights as stated above and apply regarding the issues stated above, your request will be concluded within thirty days at the latest, depending on the content of your request.
